18x24 inches on wood. This painting is the looking up view of my mother's tree in her backyard.

Mama's backyard

18x24 inches on wood. This painting I spent more time on details. perhaps it was the size of the board, or perhaps I was in a good zone that day. I particularly like the hostas at the base of the tree.

9x12 inches. This is the north view from my alley behind where I park. I was intrigued by the colors of the trees and buildings together.

9x14 inches. Another rainy day had me painting fast! I traded this work for one of Elizabeth Sutton's photos.

11x14 inches. I painted this one in the rain. people drove past and all they could see was the back of my giant umbrella.

12x16 inches. This fountain was very over grown with weeds and wild flowers when I began the painting. When I came back to finish, they had cut the weeds down and all that remained was a few growths of grass that peaked between the cracks.
